  1. FESTIVAL DATES & HOURS

    Ohana Festival will take place on September 25-27, 2020 at Doheny State Beach. The festival will open at 12:00pm each day.

  2. BOX OFFICE LOCATION & HOURS

    The box office will be located on-site at Doheny State Beach – 25300 Park Lantern, Dana Point, CA 92629.

    The box office will open 1 hour before the festival opens each day.

  3. LOST & FOUND

    During festival weekend, the lost & found is located near the main entrance at the Guest Services tent. At the end of each night, all unclaimed items will be moved to the Box Office.

    Post festival, all unclaimed items will be turned in to the Doheny State Beach Visitor Center.

  5. ALLOWED & PROHIBITED ITEMS

    Guests and their belongings are subject to search upon entry. Please adhere to the rules below.


    The following items are ALLOWED:

    • Bags in compliance with our Clear Bag Policy (please reference guide below)
      • On a case-by-case basis, security may make exceptions to the Clear Bag Policy for parents of babies/toddlers with diaper bags, breastfeeding mothers, and those with documented medical needs
    • EMPTY Refillable Water Bottles – NO GLASS
    • Stadium Chairs (the frameless, folding stadium cushion kind)
    • Standard-Sized Beach Towels (60” x 30”)
      • Towels must only be set up in designated areas depicted on the Festival Map – there will be signage on-site that will clearly mark where towels are permitted
      • PLEASE NOTE: This area will convert into a standing room only area once the site begins to fill up. Timing of this conversion is at the discretion of Ohana Festival management
      • The designated towel area is limited in size; space is reserved on a first come, first served basis
      • For safety concerns, towels/belongings must NOT be left unattended at any time. Security will be monitoring closely.
    • Collapsible strollers
    • Standard non-professional cameras (no detachable lenses)
    • Poster tubes
    • Rechargeable portable batteries
    • Chapstick
    • Sunblock (non-aerosol)
    • Medications with a prescription and a matching valid ID (venue is not Prop 64/215 approved)


    The following items are PROHIBITED:

    • Bags/Backpacks not in non-compliance with our Clear Bag Policy (please reference guide below)
    • Glass of any kind, including glass bottles
    • Beach chairs / high-back chairs / backpack chairs / hammocks / other lounging equipment
    • Outside food and drinks
    • Coolers
    • Blankets & Towels that are larger than 60” x 30”
    • Umbrellas
    • Sand wagons
    • Narcotics and drug paraphernalia.
    • Alcohol of any kind
    • Drones or any other unmanned aircraft.
    • Kites
    • Marker pens and spray paint
    • Water guns and water balloons
    • Bicycles, skateboards, rollerblades, scooters (motorized or push), hoverboards, segways
    • Fireworks or other explosives
    • Glow sticks
    • Totems / flags / flag poles

  6. BAG POLICY

    Bags must be made of clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC and must not exceed 12” x 6” x 12.” You may also bring a clear, resealable, 1-gallon plastic storage bag and non-clear small clutch bags that don’t exceed 4” x 6.5.”

  8. LOCKER RENTALS & MOBILE CHARGING

    Keep your personal belongings secure and your phone charged by reserving a personal locker today before they sell out! Reserve locker here!

    When you reserve a locker online, you will receive an email 24-hours before the fest containing your locker location, locker number, and lock combination so you can simply find and use your locker. You will have unlimited access to your locker throughout the day.

    Lockers will be offered in both the GA and VIP areas.

  9. SECURITY SCREENING & ENTRY

    For the safety of everyone entering the festival, all patrons are subject to a full and complete search prior to entry.

    Please review the Allowed & Prohibited items list for a stress-free entry process.

    By purchasing a ticket, you agree to submit to a full body pat-down before entry. If you would like to be screened by security personnel of your same gender, please let security personnel know prior to the search process.

    All bags will be searched upon entry.

    At any time during the entry process if you have questions, please ask for assistance from Festival Staff located at the front gates.

  10. SAFETY & MEDICAL

    The safety & security of our fans is of the utmost importance, and we will monitor and implement any precautionary measures as recommended by the CDC and local authorities. In support of this effort, numerous hand-sanitizing stations will be available for use throughout the festival grounds and on-site security and emergency medical staff will be present all weekend.

    For the security of everyone entering the festival, all patrons are subject to a full and complete search prior to entry. Please review the Allowed & Prohibited items list for a stress-free entry process.

  11. ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED AT THE FESTIVAL?

    Ohana Festival is a family event and all ages are welcome. Children 5 and under get into General Admission for free with a ticketed adult. Children of all ages need a ticket to get into the VIP area.

    If taking the Ohana Festival shuttle to and from the site, all festival-goers will need their own shuttle pass (including children 5 years of age and younger).

  12. EXIT & RE-ENTRY

    Same day re-entry will NOT be allowed once your ticket has been scanned. Once you exit the festival, you cannot re-enter on the same day.

Getting To The Festival

  2. PARKING

    On-site parking is EXTREMELY limited so Ohana has implemented a shuttle system that makes it easy to get to-and-from the festival site. Free parking is offered at the shuttle pick-up/drop-off area, located at Outlets at San Clemente – 101 W. Avenida Vista Hermosa, San Clemente, CA 92672. From there, you can take a 10-minute ride to the festival and, at the end of the night, take the same shuttle back to the parking lots.

  3. SHUTTLES

    Taking the festival shuttle is a quick and easy way to get to-and-from the festival site! The shuttle hub is located at Outlets at San Clemente – 101 W. Avenida Vista Hermosa, San Clemente, CA 92672. Parking is free at Outlets at San Clemente.

    Transportation time is approximately 10 minutes from Outlets at San Clemente to the festival and the shuttles will drop-off/pick-up right in front of the festival’s main entrance.

    Shuttles start running 1 hour before events doors and the last shuttle from the festival to the parking lots will depart 45 minutes after the festival ends.

    Shuttles passes usually sell out in advance, so it’s recommended that all festival-goers purchase their shuttle pass in advance. Advance shuttle passes are $10/roundtrip for single days and $30/roundtrip for all three days. Shuttle prices will increase on show days.

    Shuttle passes will be sent out via email 1-2 weeks before the festival.

    All festival-goers will need their own shuttle pass (including children 5 years of age and younger).

  4. RIDE-SHARE

    Ohana Fest will have a designated rideshare drop-off/pick-up point on the corner of Dana Point Harbor Dr. & Pacific Coast Highway.

    Dedicated bike parking will be located near the festival’s main entrance. Remember to bring your own lock as they will not be provided!

    We offer a layaway plan for your ticket to the festival. The layaway plan option can be selected at checkout during the transaction process. After your first payment, the follow-up payments will be drawn automatically from the same payment method on the specified due dates.     Wristband activation ensures a smooth process when entering the festival each day. Taking this simple action will secure your investment and make sure the unique ID associated with your wristband is tied to the right person. In the event you encounter any issues as you enter or exit the festival grounds, activated ticketholders will receive quicker assistance. Activation instructions will be included when you receive your wristband.

  1. OFFICIAL WRISTBAND POLICY
    • All wristbands will be mailed. No hard tickets or Print Pass option will be available.
    • All sales are FINAL – no refunds and no exchanges.
    • If you purchased from an unauthorized source and/or the ticket is counterfeit, you will not be allowed entry.
    • Wristbands MUST be worn for entry into the Festival.
    • Wristbands MUST be worn securely on wrist and cannot be slipped on and off.
    • Wristbands must be scanned upon exit at the gate in order to re-enter that same day.
    • Wristbands are NON-TRANSFERABLE, NON-EXCHANGEABLE and NON-REPLACEABLE.
    • Do NOT remove, stretch or tamper with your wristband in any way or you will not be allowed entry.
    • Subsequent and/or multiple presentations of a counterfeited wristband are VOID and will be seized by Festival security staff.
    • If your wristband is removed by Festival security/event staff for any reason, it WILL NOT be replaced.
    • All Passholders must pass through security and are subject to bag inspection. Prohibited items will be confiscated by event staff.
    • The festival takes place rain or shine.
    • THERE ARE ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS WRISTBAND POLICY.

    There is a $20 wristband replacement fee for lost, damaged, or stolen wristbands.

  2. LOST OR STOLEN WRISTBAND

    If your wristband has been lost or stolen, please contact our ticket provider, Front Gate Tickets or call 888-512-SHOW (7469) in advance of the festival. There is a $20 wristband replacement fee.

  3. ACTIVATING YOUR WRISTBAND

    Activation instructions will be included when you receive your wristband.

  4. REMOVING YOUR WRISTBAND

    Once the festival concludes and you’re ready to remove your wristband, safely cut at the end where the cloth strap is sewn onto the clasp, so it will pull through easily without damaging the strap, the clasp, or your fingers!

    Remember to keep your wristband on during the event days. Do not remove your wristband until you plan to leave the festival for the final time.

    There is limited accessible parking available near the festival on a first-come, first-served basis to vehicles displaying a state-issued handicapped plate or placard.

    ADA parking is also provided at the festival shuttle hub located at Outlets at San Clemente – 101 W. Avenida Vista Hermosa, San Clemente, CA 92672.
